Marina’s never met a caftan she didn’t like, and La Vie Style House has been on her radar from the very beginning. We talked to the two Dallas-based founders to hear more about what excites them about the Holiday season.

What excites you about the Holidays?
We love the glamour in everything surrounding the holiday season. Larroudé pairs perfectly with everything sparkly and festive! There is so much to celebrate this time of year and we love the fashion that goes along with it.
Favorite restaurant/dish in your city?
Lindsey - All the sushi at Tei An.
Jamie - The filet at Drake’s Hollywood.

How did you get your start?
Jamie co-founded an accessories company in LA called ban.do and was a wardrobe stylist before that. Lindsey has a fashion background and she and Jamie started a styling company prior to launching La Vie Style House.
Piece of advice for your younger self / One thing you wish you knew when you were first starting out?
Jamie: "Don't give a shit what people think about you, just do you!"
Lindsey: "It's not going to be perfect every time—but it will always work out the way it's supposed to!"
What does a typical day at work look like?
Owning your own business means your work day really never starts or stops—just one continuous work year...lol. So make sure you love what you do and who you work with!!
What are some of the biggest challenges you face in your industry and what is one of your biggest successes so far?
One of our biggest successes was getting into Barneys for the first time...thanks to Marina. And the biggest challenge we face in our industry is being copied. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but it's hard to watch something we've poured our hearts and time into be imitated overnight. However, we've built a brand we are proud of and a luxury product, so, don't settle for anything less!
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
World Wide Domination! With an extended retail footprint—resort markets are a perfect fit for us.

Wow, so many good playlists! Flamingo Estate: Summer Solstice, Ett Hem Breakfast, Air.
What is your fashion uniform?
We are jeans and tee girls!! Also, we obviously love a caftan. We can always find an occasion to wear La Vie, whether it is over said jeans or with Larroudé heels to dinner or a party!
