First of all, how are you doing? 
I’m great! Enjoying the last weeks of my pregnancy as much as I can.

  

If you could send a DM to your younger self, what would it be?
Hey Girl. Here is some advice that will work for your entire life! Don't take anything personally. When someone doesn't treat you well, don't blame yourself, and don't think you have anything to do with their behavior. Stop worrying about what other people think. Know who you are, LOVE who you are. Don't jump to conclusions and let things happen. Give more space for things that bring you joy. The problem that you are having now and thinking is the end of the world, in truth, is NOTHING!

Describe your first memorable shoe-buying experience? Where were you, what did you buy, and how did you feel?
I was about 12 years old in my Hometown, Maceió, in northeastern Brazil. All the cool girls in my school had this plastic colorful sneaker that smelled like candy. If you were cool, you had to have it. However, it was quite expensive, and my parents could not afford it, so I went with my mom to hunt for something similar and more affordable. We found something just like it! It didn’t smell like candy, but who cares, nobody will be smelling your feet anyway. I was the happiest girl that day!

  

   

How do you feel about being in the first group of women featuring Larroudé?
So honored! I’m so flattered to be chosen to be part of this beautiful and powerful group of women! The collection looks beautiful and I can’t wait to see the results. 

  

What brings you joy lately?
I’ve been cooking a lot since the lockdown and the pregnancy! Every day I make a dinner inspired by a part of the world. I recently made chicken biryani, shrimp pad Thai and a poke bowl! It was delicious!

What is your secret dream (post-pandemic, of course)?
I am working hard on my new jewelry collection. Hopefully when everything goes back to “normal” I can do a fun dinner with my girlfriends to show the new pieces!
