First of all: how are you doing?
I am doing great! Thankfully work picked up again. I am lucky to spending time in a new house I just built that is finally ready in East Hampton and I have a covid boyfriend. I guess this time has allowed me to finally hunker down at home and have some much needed me time.
If you could send a DM to your younger self, what would it be?
Keep shooting for the stars girl! You are on your way up!
What is your first memorable shoe buying experience? Where were you, what did you buy and how did you feel?
My first memorable shoe buying experience was circa the early 2000's era and it was at Bal Halbour in Miami and they were a pair of platform John Galliano for Dior pink and white baby Dior logo mania slip in sandals that had a dangling rhinestone "d" on the toe part. I also bought the matching dress pochette hat and scarf. I still have all the items today in what I call my archives.
How do you feel about being in the first group women featuring Larroudé?
I feel so honored and blessed! It’s amazing to be recognized amongst some of the strongest and creative women in the world. Whether it be in fashion, art, film, music etc. I believe we are inspiring the younger generation through this amazing campaign to go out and achieve your goals but also support one another through the process.
What brings you joy lately?
Being in nature whether its hiking or taking walks on the beach fresh air is joy for me! Also a nice binge worthy television series is up there too!
What is your secret dream (post pandemic, of course)?
I can’t wait to go back to Paris my favorite city where I once lived. I miss the museums, the antiquing, and the shopping. And I guess right alongside traveling would be getting dressed up and going to a fabulous party! I miss dancing.
