Larroudé X Jonathan Cohen Fall '25

We are so pleased to be launching this iconic collection with the dear Jonathan Cohen, our collaborative resident here at Larroudé.

Back in May, Cohen pitched the idea of a boxing boot to us. Fast forward to today and the vision has been brought to life; the first of its kind for Larroudé. Cohen's collection was the perfect match for these funky lace up sneakers.

The Fall '25 presentation took place at Rockefeller Center's 7th Floor on February 9 during NYFW, with the new boxing boot sneaker on full display.

His lookbook isn’t just clothing; it’s a tribute to the women who inspire him. Alongside his righthand Sarah, he brought in his muses— their mothers, including our own Marina Larroudé, actress Sarah Pidgeon, designer Batsheva Hay. Over 14 powerhouse women showed up, because when Jonathan calls, you don’t say no. He and Sarah are light-filled, funny, and fiercely loyal—always lifting up the people who make their world shine.

About the collection:

The collection draws inspiration from Elizabeth Taylor, the silver-screen icon known for her glamorous presence at boxing matches—where she once caught the eye of Muhammad Ali. This moment sparked Jonathan Cohen’s vision: a collection that balances the elegance of Taylor with the strength of Ali.

Elements from both figures weave through the collection. Taylor’s signature perfumes, one in a glass gardenia-shaped bottle, inspired shattered floral prints on silk satin and viscose. A snow leopard jacquard swaps the cat’s spots for Taylor’s eyes.

From Ali’s world, Cohen incorporated boxing wrap trims, short waistbands reimagined in pleated skirts and peplum tops, and featherweight boxer tanks—merging strength with elegance.
