A Very Larroudé Guide to Milan
Each year, our founder, Marina Larroudé, makes her much-anticipated trip to Milan for Fashion Week, returning with a treasure trove of inspiration and must-try recommendations. Trust us, when it comes to Milan, Marina knows exactly what she’s doing!
First things first: After a long travel day in our patent leather Stella Sneaker, Marina checks into her favorite Grand Hotel et Milano, described as Milan's “most fashionable address.”
“I love how old school and small this boutique hotel is—my go-to for Milan Fashion Week.” — Marina
After settling in and a quick shoe change into our Milan Flat Boot, it’s time for a pit stop at Corso Como for some shopping inspiration. Corso Como is one of Milan's most iconic streets, known for its fashion, art, and design. 10 Corso Como is also home to a chic café, a rooftop garden, and an art gallery—a one-stop shop for inspiration.
Next stop: La Double J in her Milan clogs, one of Marina's favorite brands, known for their funky fabrics and feathery details. It would only be appropriate to wear our funky Larroudé X Libertine Milan Clogs. She even has these fabulous La Double J dessert plates back home in NYC.
It’s lunchtime! Il Salumaio di Montenapoleone is the first meal of the trip, a true Milanese gem that has been serving up authentic Italian fare since 1957 (and it's undeniably chic). Quick costume change into our Milan Flat Bootie in water resistant leather (incase of rain).
After lunch, a stop at Madame Pauline Vintage . This is such a chic spot for insane vintage finds, and Vogue seems to agree.

Another shopping favorite is the Prada boutique at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, their first-ever boutique!

“It’s gorgeous! They sell home goods, jewelry, men’s and women’s ready-to-wear. It’s so major.” — Marina
Back to the room to spruce up for drinks at the bar at Portrait Milano Hotel —a Lungarno hotel by Ferragamo (the king of shoes) that opened its doors in 2023. The hotel is located within Piazza del Quadrilatero, a 17th-century colonnade that had lain dormant for two decades. Marina is throwing on her Milan Hi Sandal for the occasion.
“Hanging in every room is a sketch of a Ferragamo shoe design from the 1950s, '60s, and '70s…” — Fathom
To end the day, dinner is at Trattoria Di Pisa . Marina describes this classic Tuscan spot as a “fashion favorite for dining.” She’s wearing our Milanina Mini Sandal.
